White Sails is only a two minute downhill walk to Saundersfoot village and enjoys panoramic views over Carmarthen Bay and Saundersfoot harbour, hence the very apt name.
Well-equipped to a high quality standard, White Sails is ideal for those seeking something very special whether it’s a family holiday or a couples romantic hideaway.
The dual-aspect sitting room with its stunning view over the beach and out to sea is comfortably furnished and gives plenty of room to relax, sliding doors lead out to an enclosed paved terrace, the perfect spot to dine alfresco and soak up the marvellous views. A second set of doors open to another more sheltered, enclosed terrace where you can relax, a gate then takes you to the rear enclosed, raised sloping lawned garden, perfect for dogs and children to play. Enjoy meals in the dining room, the large bay windows really make the most of the wonderful views over the bay and out to sea. The cottage style fitted kitchen leads out to a useful utility room and outside toilet, ideal for drying wet suits and walking gear.
Conveniently situated with all the shops, pubs and restaurants of Saundersfoot, only a few minutes’ walk down the hill below you. Spend your days on the glorious sandy beach, ideal for water sports and walking enthusiasts. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore the glorious coastline, head west to the medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour, as well as a range of shops, pubs and restaurants set down its quaint cobbled streets. A boat trip either fishing or to visit Caldey Island should not be missed, sample its unique peaceful atmosphere as it is home to Cistercian monks. Alternatively, head east via tunnels, a relic of Saundersfoot industrial mining past to more beautiful beaches of Coppet Hall, Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth. Many have beachside restaurants where you can refuel ready for the return journey. Coast Restaurant on the neighbouring beach comes highly recommended for that special celebration or enjoy a spa treatment in the St Brides Hotel nearby, although nothing can quite beat a glass of wine while soaking up the spectacular views from your terrace at White Sails itself.

The house is approached via a sharp driveway entrance off the main coast road – double gates, generally open in the daytime. There is parking space for three cars – one behind the other (as the property is semi- detached access is jointly shared with neighbouring property). There is one parking space directly adjacent to the front door, but car doors may not be able to be fully opened, depending on car width. A step leads from the tarmac entrance drive into the front door, or on the same level, access may be afforded via the back door – narrow path – concrete. The rear garden is approached via steps from the patio or the side path. The front lawn is approached via a level path. The rear patio with one step from the sitting room or level from the utility room has garden furniture. The property is well lit throughout, & equipped to a high standard with Tv/video/stereo etc. 1 well behaved dog/guide dog very welcome. Saundersfoot village is a short walk away, down a hill, but the village centre/shops/harbour is all flat with good range of shops.
We had a beautiful perfect stay in your quiet home. Great fire, cosy sofa, soft blankets and good dvd’s and great shower! Highly recommend a visit to Marloes peninsular and Stackpole to Bosherston walk. We visited Narberth for some upmarket and antique browsing! And great lunch places! Cosherston Brewery Inn for a great meal. Most of all – lovely place to get away and switch off.
We all had a great time here, perfect house, perfect place! The fireworks display on New Years Eve was fabulous! I never have stayed in such a well equipped house, had everything we needed! Love Saundersfoot, loved this house and will hopefully be back some time soon. Happy New Year!!
We had a fabulous holiday, made all the more special by the stunning location of this beautiful house. Great walks along Saundersfoot beach across to Wisemans Bridge. Thank you
What a most glorious house and fantastic setting. Our first time with 5 month old baby Kaya and doggy MJ. A beautiful place to visit. Everywhere dog friendly. It truly has been a lovely stay. Thank you from us all.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Delightful beaches and wonderful weather. White Sails is beautifully appointed. Saundersfoot still retains the charm it had 60 years ago when we last visited. Thank you
Perfect stay as always - lovely house, lovely views. Thank you
Our first visit to Saundersfoot and Tenby will be visiting again, very dog friendly place. Weather was great, brill location, house very nice and clean and comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay.
Surpassed already high expectations from website! We come down with our children, 5 & 11 and Grandparents in their eighties and we had a lovely family holiday. Thank you.
A lovely return visit to Saundersfoot. Weather was mixed, but a relaxing few days in a very convenient location, enjoying amazing views.
A cosy and comfortable home – great to recharge after Christmas! Bracing walks on the beach. The Mulberry is excellent.
This was our second stay at White Sails and we just love the house and Saundersfoot. The house has all you need to make it a comfortable home from home and we could just sit and stare at the view all day long. The dog just loves the beach and Glen beach is dog friendly all year round, plenty of eating and watering holes in the village and the walk over to Wisemans Bridge is worth it. Walked over to Amroth via the beach (tide out) and back via coastal path.
Excellent holiday as usual. Appreciate the new pictures on the walls. Everything is very clean and comfortable. New telly in the bedroom is great! Weather couldn't have been better. Can't beat The Chemist for good food and value, our favourite walk was to Wisemans Bridge. See you next year!
We love Saundersfoot and we love White Sails, fantastic location, great house with magnificent views of Saundersfoot Beach. Last minute booking, thank you for fitting us in. Well worth it!
White Sails is so cute and perfect! We had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the towns of St David's and Tenby, St Nons Well, the tunnels to Wisemans Bridge, the beach and the gorgeous views.
White Sails is a stunning, spacious, comfortable and cosy home. The views from all the windows in the front of the property are magnificent. It was so lovely opening the curtains each morning & waking up to that amazing sea view. The proximity of White Sails is ideal for all the amenities of Saundersfoot. It's also an excellent base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. We caught the local bus (5 min walk downhill) into Tenby, with its quaint cobbled streets, shops, lovely beaches and beautiful harbor. Poppy loved walking and playing on the beaches of Satundersfoot, Coppet Hall, Wisemans Bridge & Tenby. We also had a lovely walk to Wisemans Bridge, along the coastal path - lovely easy walk, with great sea views. We had a lovely lunch in the Wisemans Bridge Inn. Saundersfoot has several dog friendly establishments. We loved 'The Old Chemist Inn' on the strand - the beer garden can be accessed from the beach. Also had Sunday dinner in the Salvage Bar - lovely meal, cosy pub with great views. Thanks again for the fabulous holiday in an amazing house. Can't wait to visit again soon! Weather was super for this time of year - sunny but slightly bracing! Had a few snowflakes on Tuesday - very picturesque watching it fall over Saunderfoot beach!
Dear owners of White Sails, me and my family love your house and all the views out of the window.
Astounding views which are uplifting whatever the weather. Lovely house. 2 small boys had great fun sharing the front bedroom. Folly Far, great entertainment for children.

Lovely comfortable, relaxing cottage. Wonderful views. Unfortunately no blessed with good weather but would recommend a meal at the St Brides Hotel.
Very enjoyable holiday with a fantastic homely feel and a view to die for! We suggest The Mulberry restaurant and their Mulberry sorbet is gorgeous! We enjoyed the games system.

What a lovely house with gorgeous views. A lovely holiday with lots to do.
7th Visit. Fab holiday as usual. Lucky with the weather, Colby wood and gardens in Amroth is a nice walk.
Fab week! Thank you!
A year since we were here, still as lovely, made even better by the new bathroom and patio at front which will be great in the summer. Cassie now 14 was like a puppy on the beach. The Royal Oak now managed by Tom was very helpful and friendly. The meals now much improved for the money, would recommend! Thanks Delyth for another wonderful stay and taking on board the comments left by your guests
